Candidate Statement

Candidate Prompt:
Please tell us why you wish to serve in this office. You may include actions you wish to promote, or anything you would like members to know. Limit 500 words.

I have always loved helping Small and Medium Business owners succeed, and the NSITSP is yet another pathway to make a difference.

I started business consulting by accident when I was a single mom and my little girl was on a competitive gymnastics team.  Some helpful free advice on how to position their lobby to keep their gymnasts motivated and where there were upsell opportunities turned into a full-time job with other companies asking for my input.

Eventually, I obtained an MBA to be able to help SMBs even more.  I co-founded Gozynta, a vendor for MSPs, and my favorite part of my job is being able to work with other small business owners to help them achieve their goals and giving pep talks on those rough days.  Last year, we purchased an MSP business consulting company, Eureka Process, and we launched a new consulting program that looks at consulting holistically. It’s like having a C-Suite in your pocket who aren’t afraid to set up your ConnectWise Manage for you!    I enjoy getting more involved in helping MSPs achieve their goals and ensure that they keep their mental health and work-life balance in check.

Being on the Board has been a huge responsibility and undertaking, but I promise to continue to give it all that I have to make this industry more professional and respected.

Relevant Experience

Candidate Prompt:
Please describe your relevant experience – what you bring to the office. Limit 500 words.

When I heard about the NSITSP, I knew this was a way to get even more involved in the MSP world and help with some of the issues I’ve heard about and experienced regarding professionalism in the industry.

Previous to starting Gozynta, I was in charge of managing a Board of Directors and several committees for a non-profit for five years, as well as being their Director of Human Resources.  I know how boards work and how to get things done. I acted as the staff liaison for their Strategic Planning process. My background and experience as Director of Human Resources has often put me in the position of mediating issues between coworkers, this allows me to know how to manage and empathize with people and handle their differing opinions on heated issues.

I was honored to be selected for the Board  and then elected as Vice-President and the Committee Liason by the other board members.

I have my MBA and completed two years of a Master’s Program in peacebuilding and interfaith relations at Hartford International University.  I was also a co-organizer with Georgetown University and the United States Department of State and Department of Education of the 2015 and 2016 President’s Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge at the White House. I am honored to be named one of CRN’s 2022  and 2024 Women of the Channel.  I was voted unanimously as CEO of Gozynta in June of 2024.

It has been a very busy year, but also exciting as the NSITSP begins to grow and take action.
