NSITSP is seeking volunteers for the Executive Search Taskforce.
As we’ve mentioned recently, the NSITSP is growing quickly, and we need to find more professional association management.
I’ve been the Executive Director more or less by default since I’m the founder. But I am also running my own company fulltime. As our membership and activity grow, we will need management from someone who is actually trained and certified in running a not-for-profit membership association.
The Board has established the following framework for an Executive Search Taskforce:
The Taskforce will consist Amy Babinchak (our Board President), Karl Palachuk (Founder and current Executive Director) and seven members chosen from our membership.
If you are interested in being on this taskforce, please send a brief letter to email@example.com stating why you are interested in serving and why you are qualified.
Deadline to receive letters of interest is Friday, February 24th.
Note: This is not the application. The board wants to see who’s interested and willing to put out some effort before they invite applicants to fill out the longer form.
The Board will discuss Letters of Interest at their regular February 27 board meeting.
The Board is not in a huge hurry. Our organization is growing, we’re headed in the right direction, and we do have an Executive in place. But once we start the process, we’d like it to move along at a good pace.
