I have been in the I.T. Industry for 30+ years. I have seen a lot of change when it comes to technology and the knowledge we must have to keep up with the changes. I have seen “professionals” come into this field without the basic understanding of the industry nor do they have the business skills to properly run a business. I feel we have an opportunity with NSITSP to provide a set of standards, principals and ethics for the industry. My hopes is we become the beacon. Right now I believe legislation is coming that will negatively affect our industry. We need to get ahead of this. Finally we need to have a place where the younger generation can come to learn and understand technology and grow as a professional.

In my personal life I have served on many local committee’s. I am also currently a member of the Formation committee which has transitioned into the Governance committee. I would love to continue the work we have started.
