Candidate Statement

Candidate Prompt:
Please tell us why you wish to serve in this office. You may include actions you wish to promote, or anything you would like members to know. Limit 500 words.

I have enjoyed the last two years in the role of the chair of the Legislative Committee. We have created the profile for the committee and started the resources creation for the members. We felt that what we needed to do was create simple videos and technical marketing communications which answer your questions about working with legislators. (See the website)

There are hundreds of legislators in the US who need to be apprised of the issues that concern us: what is an IT service provider, what part does an IT service provider play in building small business, how can the IT service provider help small business to secure their operations, and how can the IT service providers help legislators build the appropriate regulatory environment. Besides the videos and marcom, we expect that we will provide presentations, guidance, and advice to assist the efforts of IT service providers in each state. I am proud to have served for the last two years in the leadership roles of the Legislative Committee.

Let’s move forward together and build the reality of the professional IT service provider.0
