I have recently launched a peer/best practices group for MSPs focused on Risk Management. As part of our mission it is important for us to understand and anticipate any legislative changes that may be emerging that will have an impact on our business. I have been doing independent research, however participation on this committee will enable me to work with a team to gain additional knowledge and contribute to the collective effort.

I worked in the MSP Industry for 33 years. I was a partner in a VAR/MSP in Northern New England for most that time. Starting as a field engineer, I held roles as the director of services (as we were building out our MSP practice), original vCIO/Manager of VCIO team, Vice President of Sales. We were acquired in 2015 by Konica Minolta/All Covered. I finished my career as the Managing Director of the DC Metro Market for All Covered.
In 2021, I founded OTX Partners LLC to help MSPs manage their business. I established OTX Roundtable GRC as a peer/best practices group focused on risk management for MSPs. We work towards implementing and maintaining a form cybersecurity framework. We identify controls, document policies and procedures, and audit our progress. We also track trends in contract management, cyber insurance issues, and legislative trends.
