Candidate Statement
Candidate Prompt:
Please tell us why you wish to serve in this office. You may include actions you wish to promote, or anything you would like members to know. Limit 500 words.
As a member and volunteer on the Marketing Committee (as scribe), and on the Selection Committee for the new management company, I have come to know and appreciate the NSITSP.
I ran the webinar in the Spring training members in Public Relations and how to manage the media.
Recently I started and have been coordinating the AI Working Group and ran the first webinar in the series on using AI to bolster members’ marketing and sales activities. The group created an AI tool kit for NSITSP members which is posted on the public website.
My commitment to the organization is firm and I look forward to growing the NSITSP to a significant force in the IT market. I am excited to meet and work with more members and partnering with Nicole and her team.
I appreciate your support.

Relevant Experience
Candidate Prompt:
Please describe your relevant experience – what you bring to the office. Limit 500 words.
Aside from my activities with the NSITSP, I have been on the board of other groups such as college investment committees, cancer foundations, kids sports boards and others.
My work background has been in finance, operations, and business development, mainly in the area partnerships. I have run marketing and sales groups and am currently running my own small consultancy.
I am well-connected on LinkedIn and Slack channels and rely on friends, partners and colleagues to help get things done.
Lastly, as a young person, just out of college, I worked for two years on Capitol Hill for a Congressman, writing legislation on energy, environment and health issues.
